So grateful to have this pharmacy in my community. All of the staff and especially Julya have always been so kind and considerate. We have always had a very positive experience when getting something filled from here. The delivery service is also a huge plus. They always go above and beyond!

I have a special needs dog requiring three specially compounded medications. I contacted GPS Pharmacy to see if they could help, and not only were they able to fill the prescriptions, but they were able to flavor them to my dog's liking. What's even better is they were half the cost of what I was paying. The staff's professionalism and kindness blew me out of the water.

Absolutely the BEST compounding pharmacy in NC! The staff I've encountered there were so compassionate and understanding. They were also so quick and fairly priced. Julya is literally one of the sweetest pharmacists I've ever met.

Quality You Can Understand

Compounding is a regulated pharmacy practice. Here is what we actually do — in plain language.

Ingredient sourcing

We obtain pharmaceutical ingredients from qualified suppliers appropriate for pharmaceutical compounding.

Prescription-specific preparation

Medications are compounded pursuant to patient-specific prescriptions where required by law.

Pharmacist review

Every prescription is reviewed by a pharmacist before it is dispensed.

USP procedures

Our pharmacy follows applicable USP compounding requirements: USP <795> for applicable non-sterile compounding, and USP <800> procedures for applicable hazardous-drug handling.

Made here. By pharmacists you can reach.

Your medication is prepared and dispensed from our Charlotte-area pharmacy at 4455 Morris Park Drive.

Common Questions

A few of the things patients ask most often.

Yes. Compounded medications require a valid prescription from a licensed prescriber (a physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant or veterinarian).

Yes. With your permission, our pharmacists can reach out to your prescriber to request a prescription, transfer, or clarify medication options.

Most prescriptions can be transferred. Call us with the name of your current pharmacy and we'll handle the transfer process for you.

We offer complimentary local delivery in the Charlotte area and free ground shipping to eligible states. Call to confirm your address qualifies.

Coverage varies by plan and by medication. Some compounded prescriptions are covered by insurance; others are self-pay. We'll let you know your price up front.

Most compounded prescriptions are ready within 24 hours. Some formulations take longer — your pharmacist will give you a specific timeline when the prescription is received.

Yes. We compound medications for dogs, cats and other companion animals — including flavored formulations that are easier to administer.

FDA does not approve individual compounded medications the way it approves mass-manufactured drugs. Compounding pharmacies are regulated by state boards of pharmacy, must comply with applicable USP standards, and prepare medications pursuant to a valid prescription.
