How does same-day work?
The workflow, from prescription to your door:
- Your prescriber e-prescribes, faxes (980-245-2224), or calls (980-245-2028) the prescription to us. You can also drop off or mail a paper prescription, or ask us to transfer from your current pharmacy.
- Our pharmacist reviews the prescription and reaches out to your prescriber if there’s a question.
- Your medication is prepared or pulled from stock and packaged.
- Our driver delivers it to your door — usually the same day if the prescription is in by early afternoon.
When is the cutoff for same-day?
Prescriptions received by early afternoon on business days are typically delivered the same day. Anything received later in the day is delivered the next business morning. Call us if you have a time-sensitive prescription — we’ll tell you what’s realistic.
Do I need to be home?
No. Deliveries can be left in a safe location at your discretion (front porch, mailbox area, etc.). If you’d prefer a signature or need to coordinate a specific time, just let our driver know when we call to confirm the delivery.
What about controlled substances?
Federal and state regulations require specific handling for controlled substance deliveries. Our pharmacist will walk you through the requirements when you fill your prescription. In most cases we can still deliver — just with additional verification steps.
Can I get 24/7 access if I’m a hospice or hospital account?
Yes — registered hospice and hospital accounts have 24-hour access, 365 days a year. If you’re a hospice coordinator or hospital pharmacy manager setting up an account, call us at 980-245-2028.
